Installation of Curtains and Blinds

Modified on Fri, 29 Aug at 11:18 AM

In some apartments, the traditional installation of curtain rods or rails may be difficult or even impossible due to the configuration of the window frames.
To preserve the woodwork, it is strictly forbidden to drill into the frames to install curtains or blinds.

Available Alternatives
Tenants may use no-drill mounting systems available commercially:

  • Clamp mounts for roller or Venetian blinds (e.g., IKEA, Brico, Amazon)
  • Magnetic mounts or Easyfix systems
  • Self-adhesive supports for lightweight curtains
(provided they can be removed without leaving marks at the end of the lease)

⚠️ Please note:

  • Some solutions are only compatible with opening window frames.
  • Adhesive hooks may leave marks when removed.
  • Using chemical products to remove glue residue may damage the frames.
