Getting a contract for the utilities (Electricity / Gas / Water)

Modified on Fri, 28 Feb at 11:24 AM

As a tenant, you need to get your own contract for the utilities in the apartment.  For your apartment you need a contract for electricity and water. There is no need for a gas contract.

Electricity

To get an electricity contract, you need to look into one of the energy suppliers of your choice yourself. If you do not do this, the counter will be closed.

We from Home Invest Belgium cannot choose a supplier for you, this is the complete own choice of our tenants.

You can possibly use the link below, where you can compare different energy suppliers, to facilitate the making of a choice:

(available only in French or Dutch)

The electricity meters can be found on this room on floor -1:

To get a contract for the water, you need to contact VIVAQUA, the owner of the water network in Brussels.

You can find all the information you need on their website
www.vivaqua.be or by phone via +32 (0) 2 518 88 10

The water meters in the residence can be found on every floor in the common corridor.
